Assia Sidibe leads the UNITLIFE fund, an innovative financing instrument hosted by the United Nations dedicated to the fight against chronic childhood malnutrition through the promotion of nutrition-sensitive and resilient food systems that empower women to improve the diets of their families and communities. In this capacity, she is responsible for setting up its governance and managing the program.

Prior to joining UNITLIFE, she headed the West and Central Africa operations of the African Risk Capacity, an African Union specialized Agency providing sovereign risk insurance solutions to some of the countries most vulnerable to climate change in Africa. She also worked for the French Development Agency at the Southern Africa regional bureau, as an Investment Officer focusing on funding municipal infrastructure development.
